The Harvest Room: A New Dining Experience in Munster, IN

Everything we had was great. Chicken and waffles with bacon infused in the waffle. I had the hunters skillet (meat eaters skillet). Son had oatmeal and that had no flavor at all. I would recommend they remove it or doctor it up. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, seasoning, butter - something! Aunt got Biscuit and gravy and she liked hers as well They have a great variety of teas (hot and cold). Overall, great spot.

This place is good, but not great. We ordered the Chill Killa appetizer and the Korean BBQ beef. The nachos arrived soggy when put on our table and the BBQ dish tasted like one of the sauces was microwaved or something. I can’t even really describe it. Just tasted overly sweet and plastic-like. Other than that it was good. Parking is awesome, plenty of space.

This was such an awesome culinary experience! Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was top notch also! I even got a chance to speak with one of the owners. If u haven't been, make it your business to go!

I met a friend there today for brunch. It has the same marvelous food as the Palos location but is way fancier! We loved it. My coffee, orange juice, and skillet were all delicious.

Stopped in for Breakfast had the Bangers and bravas skillet, looked amazing when it was brought to the table ….just like the picture shows, and the taste was on point … The Spanish style potatoes with queso fresco and topped off with avocado was a great touch … My waitress Suemy was very attentive and friendly and had a great presence. Excellent pancake with a slight crisp to the edges topped off with a light dust of powdered sugar .. coffee was refreshing .. You can taste the Great quality ingredients in every bite… can’t wait to try another dish …!!!!

Really great choice right next to my hotel. Staff great especially Alejandro my server. Farm to table goodness. Restaurant is simply decorated but perfect. I ordered the hunter’s breakfast which consist of two eggs anyway you want them your choice of meat either bacon turkey sausage, pork sausage. I took the sage pork sausage and you could get pancakes or toast and hashbrowns, and I took the toast and hashbrowns with the sourdough toast. It was fabulous. They brought fresh preserves for toast. Next time I’m traveling I’m definitely coming back.

However, after a quick conversation with the staff, we were moved to a vibrant corner further inside the dining area, which significantly improved the ambiance of our visit. Overall, it was a decent experience, and once seated comfortably, the inviting atmosphere made it a pleasant outing.

Harvest Room in Munster is one of our favorite spots for both breakfast and lunch. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. Service is friendly, fast, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming every time we come in. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a family meal, Harvest Room never disappoints. Highly recommend!
